Jon Hoisington was great! He responded quickly to our request for a quote–we wanted to remodel our stairway. He was on a list of contractors that our flooring company, Contract Furnishings Mart (CFM), gave us. During the entire process, he stayed in touch with us via text and email. He picked up the new pad and carpet from CFM and arrived on the day/time he indicated for both the quote and for the installation. He finished installation on time. And we are very pleased with the results!

I hired Jon to help us flip our rental. Originally I was looking for a quality contractor that could work with our quick turn around on our schedule to get our home back on the market quickly. Not only was Jon very professional and quick with his response, he offered a very flexible timeline and offered to come in and start on demo and other parts of the project between other projects he was doing. This worked great for us and was even more pleased with the quality of his work. We had carpet, tile, and LVP replaced and I could not have been more pleased with the outcome. He offered easy payment methods and financing options as well which made it that much more convenient. I have other projects coming up and he will be my first go to call. Finding a contractor that can be flexible with you in these market conditions is hard to come by and would highly recommend Jon to anyone.

Jon had to pick up where previous contractors had left off. He also did some insurance work. The things he did were: Replace flooring. Rebuilt wall. Fixed several door frames. Added thresholds to exterior doors. Sheetrock repair. He was always on time and communicative about when he was going to be onsite.
He had great suggestions about how to address things that needed to be done. We are VERY happy with Hoisington construction and will be calling on them in the future whenever we need help again.

I had the tremendous opportunity to contract with Hoisington Construction for a complete property “facelift” prior to listing; this involved not only painting, new flooring, and new carpet, but existing structural and electrical repairs. It was stressful to put this work in the hands of a stranger while I was moving cross-country, but Jon Hoisington and his painting subcontractor, Clark, were friendly and professional, timely, focused, and utterly trustworthy. The work was incredible and the pricing was tremendous. If you’ve had a terrible experience with contractors in the past, treat yourself to a worthy partnership and heal some of that distrust through working with Hoisington. You’ll get expert work and amazing customer service (including regular communication and meaningful dialogue about the milestones and achievements). If you’re a first-timer, don’t go anywhere else; move forward with someone who’s going to honor your estimates and timeline and offer some guidance (where appropriate – because they know the markets they’re working in and materials they’re working with). If I still lived in OR, Hoisington Construction would be my go-to forevermore; as it stands now, I encourage you to consider them YOUR go-to and save yourself time, money, and endless worry. These are good people doing good work in the world; you deserve nothing less for all of the projects that impact your home.
